Dr. Meghan Kemnec
Dr. Kemnec is passionate about improving the health of children, mothers, and prospective parents, knowing that the wellness of our children begins with healthy parents before conception. She believes all people can achieve better health and works with you to create a plan specific to meeting personalized health goals for you and your family. Dr. Kemnec empowers patients to be proactive about wellness and make healthy decisions in their daily lives. She teaches you how to take charge of your health and uses natural therapies including botanicals, nutritional supplements, biofeedback, and homeopathy, as well as lifestyle coaching for nutrition, exercise, and sleep to achieve wellbeing.
While treating the whole family, Dr. Kemnec specializes in pediatrics including teens and women’s health from preconception and fertility care to menopause. Her clinical interests include asthma and allergies, digestion, mental health, environmental medicine, and endocrine disorders including diabetes.
Dr. Kemnec holds a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University and a BS from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. After graduating with her ND, Dr. Kemnec was selected for and completed a family practice residency at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health in Seattle, WA. Her residency included specialty care rotations in diabetes and cardiovascular wellness, environmental medicine, mental health, and adjunctive oncology as well as community health for homeless and low income populations.
Dr. Kemnec has always been committed to public service and was drawn to natural medicine’s principles of the healing power of nature and supporting the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Before discovering naturopathic medicine she served as an Ensign in the Navy. In her free time she loves being outdoors at the coast and in the mountains, spending time running, hiking, camping, reading, and traveling with her husband, son, and dog.
